  1. Purpose of processing personal data

Whenever you send a message to us via email or our contact form, we will store the data disclosed by you (surname, forename, company, address, country, email address, phone number, message) and use them to process your message and contact you (pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) and (b)). The data gathered in this process will be deleted as soon as storing them is no longer required. If we are legally obliged to retain them, processing will be restricted.

 

  1. If our website is used without submitting information to us, we will only collect the personal data your web browser transfers to our servers. Data collection is technically necessary in order to display the website and to ensure stability and security (compliant with Art. 6(1)(f)).

 

The following data will be automatically transferred when using the website:

When you subscribe to our email newsletter or our customer magazine “inControl“, we will store the data disclosed by you (email address - mandatory, necessary for receipt -, surname, forename) and use them to send the newsletter or customer magazine (compliant with Art. 6(1)(a)). The data collected in this context will be deleted as soon as you object to further use or revoke your consent to receive the newsletter or customer magazine.

 

You can revoke consent to receive the email newsletter at any time in writing, on the phone, via email or using the unsubscribe link in the email newsletter. You can also revoke consent to receive the customer magazine “inControl” in writing, on the phone or via email.

 

 

Data processing in connection with the application process

  1. On our web pages, we offer you the opportunity to apply for a job online. When using the provided online forms or submitting your application via email, we will store the data disclosed by you (email address, surname, forename, address, phone number, uploaded application documents, etc.) and use them in the course of the application procedure (compliant with Art. 6(1)(a)). The data collected in this context will be deleted after completion of the application process unless you have consented to long-term storage (inclusion in our pool of applicants). If you revoke consent to further use of your data before the end of the application process, we will of course delete them promptly.

 

For uniform collection and processing of applicant data on our website, we use a software system by the company rexx systems GmbH, Süderstraße 75-79, 20097 Hamburg, which we have entrusted with the provision of this service. Once you have consented, the data entered in the application forms will be transferred to service provider rexx systems GmbH for processing and stored on its servers. We will only use your data for the purpose mentioned above and in compliance with the data protection provisions of the GDPR. Our commissioned service provider rexx systems GmbH will not disclose your personal data to third parties. We have entered into a contract regarding order processing with rexx systems GmbH to fully meet the requirements of Art. 28 of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation.

 

 

Privacy statement regarding the use of Google Analytics

Privacy statement regarding the use of YouTube in extended data protection mode

We use the provider YouTube to integrate videos. Those videos were embedded in extended data protection mode. However, like most websites, YouTube uses cookies to collect information on the visitors of their website. For instance, YouTube uses this information for the collection of video statistics, to prevent fraud and to improve usability. This also establishes a connection to the Google DoubleClick network. Starting a video might trigger further data-processing procedures. We have no influence on this.

Within the company HBC-radiomatic GmbH, your personal data will be passed on to the divisions where they are needed in order to fulfil our contractual and legal obligations.

 

We might employ external service providers to process your data (e.g. IT service providers, web hosts, etc.). We have carefully selected and hired those service providers, they are obliged to follow our instructions, and we monitor them regularly.

 

Furthermore, public bodies are entitled to receiving data if said data are needed due to legal or regulatory obligations.

 

Your personal data will not be transferred to any further recipients unless you have actively consented to such transfer.

 

  1. Data transfer to third countries

Your data will not be transferred to third countries.

 

  1. Retention period

The data disclosed when contacting us (emails, data from contact and inquiry forms) will be deleted as soon as storing them is no longer required. If we are legally obliged to retain them, processing will be restricted.

 

The data disclosed to us in the context of an online or email application will be deleted when the application process is completed and you have been rejected (since there is no longer a reason for keeping them) unless we are legally obliged to retain them. In accordance with §15(4). of the General Equal Treatment Act (“Allgemeines Gleichbehandlungsgesetz“, AGG), we keep the application documents for a period of 2 months after the end of the application process before applicant data will be deleted.

 

If you have consented to long-term storage of your applicant data (e.g. for inclusion in a pool of applicants), your data will be deleted after 24 months at the latest.

 

The retention period for automatically transferred data (cf. 3 b.) is 30 days. After this period, the data will be deleted.
